Pass Prices For Steamboat, Winter Park, and Copper
Copper Mountain, Steamboat Springs and Winter Park, CO…September 4, 2009…The complete line-up of 2009-10 season passes for three of Colorado’s favorite resorts – Winter Park, Copper Mountain and Steamboat – are available at their low summer prices through Monday Sept. 7, 2009. New this year, Intrawest is making it easy for guests to experience Colorado powder by purchasing select season passes through the new website, www.skicolorado.com.
The popular Rocky Mountain Super Pass, Super Pass Plus, and Ultimate Pass return for the 2009-10 season, providing access to three of the most authentic and genuine resorts in Colorado. The variety of pass products offer something for everyone and provide exceptional value for guests eager to hit the bumps at Winter Park/Mary Jane, tear up Copper’s phenomenal back bowls and find themselves waist-deep in Steamboat’s Champagne Powder™ snow.
At Winter Park Resort, skiers and riders will enjoy exploring The Village at Winter Park that now includes three restaurants, an old-fashioned soda fountain, expanding retail, condominiums, Village Lofts, a central pond, ice skating, an event gazebo, and a multi-level parking structure within steps of base area chairlifts. With over $40 million spent in the past five years, on-mountain enhancements including four new chairlifts and award-winning terrain expansions, guests will enjoy faster and easier access to the snowy slopes.
Over the past four seasons, $30 million in on-mountain improvements have been made to the Steamboat Ski Area, including more than $2.5 million invested specifically for the upcoming 2009-10 winter season. Steamboat’s on-mountain momentum augments nearly $20 million in completed and planned public revitalization projects, Steamboat Unbridled, sweeping the mountain village.
Woodward at Copper is the first indoor/outdoor ski and snowboard camp on the planet. The 20,000 sq ft Woodward at Copper Barn gives campers access to Snowflex® jumps, foam pits, a spring floor, trampolines and indoor skateboard features. Copper will be offering a Woodward at Copper season pass upgrade to include a One Hit Wonder intro session and 5 Drop-In sessions, as well as exclusive deals throughout the season. The price of the season pass upgrade for Woodward at Copper is $149 and is available to those purchasing a Copper or Winter Park season pass, a Rocky Mountain Super Pass, a Super Pass Plus or a Rocky Mountain Ultimate Pass.

The Rocky Mountain Super Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding at both Copper Mountain and Winter Park Resort.
Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus:
$439 Adult / $329 Teen / $229 Child / $239 70 +
Patriot Pass with Military ID: $229 Adult / $114 Child
Follow the snow storm this season with the “The Plus” pass, offering skiers and riders unlimited access to Winter Park Resort and Copper Mountain along with six unrestricted days at Steamboat to use anytime throughout the season, and free skiing and riding every Friday after 12:30 p.m. The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus is a great way to experience the best that Winter Park Resort, Copper Mountain, and Steamboat have to offer. New Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus passes must be purchased in person.
Individual Resort Season Passes (Adult): $369 Winter Park / $359 Copper / $1199 Steamboat Unlimited access to individual resorts is also available for those most loyal to their resort of choice.
College Pass: $329 Adult
The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus College Pass offers full time college students nationwide unlimited skiing and riding at Winter Park and Copper Mountain, as well as six unrestricted days at Steamboat for use anytime throughout the season and free skiing and riding every Friday after 12:30 p.m. Must be purchased in person at participating Christy Sports locations. Offer is available to full time college students who are able to present college ID and a current class schedule. This offer is not limited to CO college students.
Four Passes: $119 Copper / $129 Winter Park
Copper or Winter Park Resort Four Passes are still the most economical entry into a pass product of any major resort in Colorado. Ski or ride four days for less than $33 per day at Winter Park and for $30 per day at Copper. Four Passes require a picture that ties it directly to its user, providing greater security in case of loss or theft. Purchasers are also entitled more benefits than ever before including four $55 Friends and Family lift tickets. Guests who have had a season pass anytime starting in 2006-07, may purchase or renew a Four Pass for themselves online or over the phone. Winter Park Resort Four Passes are not valid Dec. 27-31, 2009. New this season – no blackout dates for Copper Mountain. New Four Passes must be purchased in person.
Rocky Mountain Ultimate Pass: $1259 Adult / $699 Teen / $449 Child (6-12) / $579 70 + / $30 5-and-under
The Ultimate pass combines the Super Pass favorites of Winter Park Resort and Copper Mountain with Steamboat, allowing for unlimited skiing and riding at all three Colorado resorts. As an additional benefit, for every adult Ultimate Pass purchased, one child (12-and-under) will receive a free Ultimate Pass.
Season Pass benefits include:
· Season Pass holders receive ten $55 Friends and Family discounted tickets per pass at the ticket window (Copper and Winter Park only)
· Discounts on resort food and beverage, retail, rental, and ski and ride lessons
· Discount on daily window lift tickets rates at select Intrawest resorts
· One year (6 issues) subscription to Skiing magazine (Copper and Winter Park only)
