It is the nature of New Yearʻs Eve to end with a big bang and so it was with ATOMIC of course. At the end of December the ski manufacturer from Altenmarkt, Austria signed the American backcountry freestyle superstar Sage Cattabriga-Alosa to its Freeski Team. The early bird catches the worm, therefore Sage and the ski brand nailed the deal already some days before the turn of the year, so that the 30-year-old freeski-hero will plough the pow on
ATOMIC skis in future. The American is one of the biggest freeski idols and one of the most progressive backcountry freestylers beyound doubt. As well as his new ski-supplier, Sage has done a lot to push the sport to where it is today.

”ATOMIC has a sick team. Having a great team is a key part to do what we do,“ Sage said about his decision. ”I was stoked to see the amazing products, the shapes and designs. Iʼm excited about the vision that ATOMIC has for the future, both in the products, the development of the sport and the team.“

”Here at ATOMIC we are very excited to welcome Sage to our family. Sageʼs innovative and progressive way to approach a mountain along with his sociable personality perfectly reflects what our brand represents.“ says Martin Steinbach, Brand Communications Manager for ATOMIC, about the new team rider.
