New for ’09 Model is Creatively Styled and Technologically Advanced
Overland Park, KS July 2009 – The newest member of the Bollé goggle family, the Monarch, packs a long list of performance-oriented features and a sleek profile into one versatile medium-sized package.
Monarch’s frame uses a combination of two face foams – each with a distinct specific density – to create a comfortable, yet completely stable fit. Flow-Tech Venting, a feature common to all Bollé goggles, reduces fogging and optimizes air flow over the inside of the lens. Careful attention to structural shapes and a highly adjustable strap results in a perfect helmet fit.
Polycarbonate double-vented lenses are available in four separate tints, including one with Bollé’s exclusive Modulator technology – which automatically and instantaneously adjusts to changing amounts of available light.
“Monarch is probably the most versatile goggle in our 2010 line,” noted Andrew Cohen, Global Product Manager. “Skiers and riders will be drawn to its assertive profile, superior optics and precise fit.”
Monarch will be on ski and snowboard shop shelves before the first trails open. Available in 10 SKUs – including multi-hued “Coral Snake,” (pictured above) prices range from $39 to $79. Most Bollé goggles – including Monarch – can be customized with optical prescription adaptors that affix securely to the interior of the goggles.
