A Video Tribute to Sarah Burke

14-year-old filmmaker from Whistler, B.C. compiles tribute video for late Canadian freeskier

Zac Moxley, a 15-year-old aspiring filmmaker from Whistler, B.C., compiled this video tribute to Sarah Burke, the Canadian freeskier from nearby Whistler who died Thursday. The video went up on Vimeo some 13 hours ago, and already it’s garnered 106,000 views. “Hi everybody, as we know, Sarah Burke has passed away,” writes the young Mr. Moxley, whose profile says he’s been filming seriously for a year-and-a-half. “Everyone is deeply saddened by this situation and all my prayers go out to family. I made this video from any clips/pictures I could find. I hope you enjoy this video.” — TM

That was so beautifully done. I feel deep sadness about the death of Sarah, you have a true talent of catching the beauty of what a person is.
