RESORT DESCRIPTION:
For more than 60 years, Whitefish Mountain Resort has been providing skiers in the know with good times, great people, and deep snow. Rising above historic Whitefish, Montana, and boasting more than 3,000 acres of bowls, chutes, and glades, Whitefish Mountain Resort is just as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as it is for friendly people, deep powder, and wallet-friendly pricing.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:

• 12/31: New Year’s Eve Rockin’ Rail Jam & Torchlight Parade
• 1/23: Whitefish Whiteout randonee race
• 2/4-2/6: Whitefish Winter Carnival
• 3/19-3/20: Brewfest and Dummy Derby
• 4/10: Pond Skim

TERRAIN BREAKDOWN:

Whitefish has 50-percent expert terrain and 35-percent intermediate runs with 360 degree skiing off the peak, providing steep, deep lines and virtually no lift lines. Three terrain parks range from the beginner Depot to the advanced Armory. Night skiing lights up the weekends in the terrain park and select runs.

POWDER PERSPECTIVE:

Like the state of Montana, Whitefish is big and open. The resort is rarely crowded and with the dry snow covering a variety of terrain, including open bowls and good tree skiing, Whitefish is one of Montana’s best kept secrets.
