Trail Map

If you’re not careful at Breckenridge, you’ll be spending your day with the crowds rather than getting the goods. To avoid the jeans and Starter jackets, head up the Breck connect to the Colorado Superexpress. From there, traverse to Chair 6, which is a great little powder stash for tree skiing. After you lap Chair 6, head up Imperial, which tops out at 12,840 feet. If its bluebird, opt for the quick hike to the summit and drop into Imperial Bowl. For my money though, anywhere between Forget-Me Not and Vertigo will feature long runs with a wide range of terrain. Take the T-Bar and hop off three-quarters of the way for easy access to Cucumber and Horseshoe bowls. Breck’s five renowned parks offer a diverse body of features, including four half pipes.

What’s New:
The Epic Pass offers unlimited skiing at all Vail Resorts for only $579. The pass is completely unrestricted, however, it is only on sale through November 15th, so mark your calendars.

Inside Line:
For a guaranteed trip to grub town, hit up the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco.
