Winter Park Overview
Powder Perspective
Winter Park has a bit of everything for everyone. From the challenging terrain on Mary Jane, fast gladed runs, and their well-manicured terrain parks (including the annual Winter Park Open course), it's difficult to not find what you’re looking for at WP. And Winter Park claims to have the most bump runs in North America.
Resort Overview
Winter Park Resort is Colorado's Favorite resort, with over 3,000 acres of award-winning terrain including groomers, terrain parks, bumps, steeps, trees, and most definitely deeps. Its ideal location amidst the Continental Divide is the perfect location to enjoy over 32 feet of sweet Colorado snow. Just 67 miles northwest of Denver, Winter Park Resort is the closest major destination resort to Denver and offers skiers and riders an experience unlike any other resort.
Terrain Breakdown
The area receiving the most upgrades is the mile-long terrain park system, including Rail Yard, Dark Territory and three other beginner and intermediate parks. On a powder day, head to the glades of Mary Jane, hit the bowl skiing in Parsenn Bowl, or the inbounds backcountry terrain of Vasquez Cirque.
