Resort Overview

With 1,056 acres of inbounds terrain, Sugarloaf stands tall as the largest ski area east of the Rockies. Last season, Sugarloafers were introduced to Brackett Basin-a 270-acre playground filled with steep lines, cliff drops and ample powder. This was the first step in a comprehensive 10-year plan, which will eventually double the skiable terrain of the mountain. This year the resort will add another 135 acres of new terrain, plus a brand new lift to deliver skiers into the heart of some of its best terrain.

Terrain Breakdown

Boasting a vertical drop of 2,820 feet and over 1,000 acres of trails and glades, Sugarloaf's terrain is unparalleled in the East. Bumps, steeps, cruisers, beginner trails, and over 400 acres of sidecountry terrain in the new Brackett Basin will keep every skier occupied all winter.
