Ski Banff – Lake Louise – Sunshine Overview
Powder Perspective
After a big storm, go straight for the Powder Bowls on the backside of Lake Louise, where you'll find 2,500 acres of steep, above-treeline terrain. Lap the 40- to 50-degree steeps off the Paradise triple. If visibility is poor, head to the Ptarmigan quad to find stashes in the trees.
Resort Overview
Banff National Park is home to three of the world's finest ski resorts; Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village. That's almost 8,000 acres of terrain on one tri-area lift ticket. The area's unique inland location guarantees the dry, light snow that they're famous for-and plenty of it.
There's free transportation with a tri-area lift ticket between Banff-Lake Louise and the resorts. And with one of the longest ski seasons in North America, there's plenty of time to enjoy Canada's Protected Playground, Banff National Park.
Terrain Breakdown
All three resorts provide a well balanced variety of terrain, from gentle groomed runs to some of the world's most extreme inbound challenges, something to suit all levels and desires. And for the park lover, each resort boasts a progressive terrain park suitable to skiers and riders of all abilities.
