War and a Teddybear Crisis

Tanner Hall and Lonnie Paxton on stage. Yes, Lonnie Paxton.

Some things come full circle. In 2006, J.P Auclair won best P.O.V. for his segment in Poor Boyz Production’s War. Last year, he won it again for his seminal street shoot in All.I.Can. War won movie of the year, too.

That year, Tanner Hall won best male performance for his showing in Teddybear Crisis, which is arguably still one of the best ski movies ever. Kris Ostness and company called it a “Utah gap show” and that holds up. In his segment, Tanner stomped a switch 9 at Chad’s. In other award-related news, that Dana Flahr guy proved that he’s a good little skier, and Ingrid continued her dominance.
