All.I.Can. produced some of the most artful shots in a photographic composition sense, but we gave the nod to The Ordinary Skier because of the places they took us. Seth Morrison, Nate Wallace, CP, Matty Moo Herriger, Chris Figenshau and Dave Rosenbarger took us into lines that most skiers will never have the opportunity to see in their lifetime. These Chamonix dream lines were chalk full of frightening exposure. Carrying cameras and navigating this no-fall terrain act as key elements in award Best Cinematography. The Ordinary Skier opened up a world that most of us can only dream about.
