What happened at the Second Annual Powder Awards?

Glad you asked

Scot Schmidt on stage. We have no historical explanation for his turtleneck.

The year 2002 was the beginning of the decade-long, two-man battle for the top spot of the Reader Poll. Shane McConkey won the award at the inaugural PVAs, but in year two, Seth Morrison took it away from him. Seth and Shane would duke it out for the award until 2011, when an Internet phenom from Pennsylvania named Tom Wallisch got the power of Newschoolers behind him and took it away.

Seth also won Best Male Performance, for his segment from Ski Movie 2: High Society. The film racked up awards for Best Cinematography, Best Soundtrack, Best Trick, Best Female Performance (Wendy Fisher, who also won the Reader Poll), and Worst Slam.

Also, Telemark was a category. Cute, huh?
