Rossland, BC, - Red Mountain's 2003/2004 Winter Season has begun!
In the past weeks, a number of snowstorms have brought an incredible 60cm (23") of new snow to Red Mountain allowing the resort to open one week earlier than expected. "The mountain is looking great", says Mr. Greene. "Western Canada is enjoying a great early season; this is shaping up to be an epic winter." The early opening provides the perfect opportunity to come and get a jump on the season. The Silverlode Chair is in operation and all resort services, including Sourdough Alley, Rafter's Lounge, Snow School, LeRoi's and Kindercare will be offered.
In addition, Ticket Office staff is on-hand for pass processing and sales. Red Mountain is offering a number of ticket products this season including Season Passes, Ski Cards, and Value Cards. New this season, Value Cards provide 5 transferable full-day lift tickets, valid all season. Guests should inquire at the ticket office to determine which product is right for them. Full-time operations at Red Mountain will commence on Saturday December 13th.
