In 2011, the Powder Video Awards enters its second decade of recognizing the artistry and athleticism in ski film and photography. Recognized by the industry, athletes and fans as the pinnacle of ski film awards shows, the 12th Annual PVAs continues to be the most sought after party during the Winter X Games in Aspen. The hundreds who get in the door experience one of the most intimate parties in the ski world, attended by the biggest names in skiing. Celebrating the 12th Anniversary, Powder Reader Poll & Video Awards showcases the seasonal feats and the athletes that continue to define the sport. Recognizing the best that the industry has to offer the Awards host the who's who of the skiing community both athletes and industry players alike. Combining print, digital and on-site exposure this unique event returns to Aspen at the Wheeler Opera House in late January during the Winter X Games.

Powder Reader Poll:
Honoring the year's Top 10 male skiers and best 5 female skiers, the skiing community determines who makes the list through a three month long voting process in which athletes vie for the top spot posting comments and videos in an effort to make it to the top spot. The awards showcase the talent, commitment and inspiration of the communities best athletes.

Powder Video Awards:
Known as the Academy Awards of skiing, the PVA's is the only annual show to recognize the progress and quality of video production and skier performance. Best Powder, Best Air, Best Trick, Full Throttle and Movie of the Year are just a few of the accolades handed out each year.
