High Fives' annual event Trains raises money for charity and kicks ass.

By Mike Rogge

For the third year in a row High Fives Foundation hosted their annual invitational slopestyle event, “Trains” at Alpine Meadows. What separates Trains from other slopestyle events is the loose format, chicken wing eating contest, and winners taking home $3000 to a charity of their choosing. On the women’s side Grete Elliassen, fresh off a trip to the North Pole, took the top honor and donated her winnings to NeuroRecovery Network. On the male side of the equation funny man and Level 1 athlete Parker White gifted his $3000 to his hometown Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports Foundation.
