There is no better place to be when the sky is unloading several feet of powder than Jackson Hole. No place. With over 4,000 vertical feet and easy access to some of the most mind-blowing backcountry anywhere, this mountain is regarded by many as being the ultimate ski resort.
Two distinct mountains—Rendezvous and Apres Vous—lie in the center of the Tetons and make up the Jackson Hole. For the past 40 years, this resort has been home to some unbelievable skiing and snowboarding. Whether you’re an amateur or a pro, Jackson Hole will definitely give you an experience that’ll be hard to forget.
If you don’t ski or snowboard, don’t fret because there’s a lot more to this resort than just that. If the huge range of outdoor activities in Jackson Hole isn’t enough, you can shop, dine, get a massage or go to a spa, and experience the awesome nightlife in the Town of Jackson and Teton Village.
Going on three times a year—one in the winter, one in the spring, and one in the summer—is the Jackson Hole Mountain Festival. This summer—from August 31st – September 3rd—the events include: Labor Day Ski & Snowboard Sale, Movies in the Village, Village Chefs' BBQ Showdown, free outdoor concert and the Teton Village Fishing Derby. All events are free so everyone can come and have some good times!
