While the scene in Haines, Alaska back in March was more like a gathering of friends, than a ski competition, no one lost sight of the prize: $35,000 to be spread out over several categories. The skiing may be over, but the contest has just begun. A world-renowned panel of photo editors and former freeskiing world champions has already had the opportunity to vote on several categories. But the biggest, most coveted prize has been left up to you.

Voting for the People's Choice Award is now open at www.redbullsnowthrillofalaska.com. Satiate your summer skiing jones with pictures of 12 of the world's best skiers, taken by 12 of the planet's most esteemed ski photographers. While you're at it, let your voice be heard.
