A skate park-like sculpture, game room, D.J., endless amounts of red bull and vodka and a private screening of Tanner Hall’s new movie, Believe, makes for an amazing Thursday night.
Red Bull’s corporate office in Santa Monica, CA., hosted a screening of Tanner’s new movie last night to a hundred skier and snowboarders waiting in anticipation for the first day of snow. Believe didn’t help the viewers forget about their need for ski season to start. Stock full of amazing face shots, tons of blower powder and lots of big mountain, the movie makes a powder junkie’s wet dream come alive.
Along with Tanner presenting the movie were the stars of the film: Seth Morrison, CR Johnson, Kye Peterson, Sean Pettit, Callum Pettit and Ian Provo.
Believe proves to be a very different movie from Tanner’s previous films. Claiming that he is tired of the park, Tanner says that he wants to show the real side of skiing that pipe and park rats seem to forget exists.
“I don’t want the sport to become rollerblading,” said Hall in a post-film Q+A.
Tanner proves this love for the big mountain and deep snow with great locations such as Mt. Baker, Retallack, British Columbia, Whistler, Japan and Haines, Alaska.
Don’t miss the film and see Morrison pull a 150+ double front flip in Alaska, among Hall’s killer pillow lines, big mountain jumps, and more.
After the screening, amped viewers returned to mingling with the films stars, dancing to the D.J., sliding down the skate-ramp-like sculpture and polishing off more red bulls to forget that ski season is still a month away.
