NORTHEAST GETS HAMMERED WITH SNOW

Resorts Reporting Storm Totals of 30''-65"

Words: Sam Pelletier

It's been a crazy winter all over the country, with massive storms pounding the Mid-Atlantic, and the typical heavy snows of the West falling south of the Rockies. The Northeast has had a typical season of mixed conditions, but last week all that changed. Starting Wednesday the snow started falling and hasn't stopped since. Resorts are still getting dumped on after nearly a week of snow, bringing some of the best conditions in recent memory. We often dismiss the East for it's bitter cold and icy slopes, but today we should all be jealous of the yankees who get to plunder this latest offering from the heavens.

It was truly epic in Maine, waist high in the trees for 3 days straight. SKI THE EAST!

Drove home from school in Boston, to NY (Hunter Mountain) so I could ski in 7ft of fresh snow. The snow was piled so high and everything was skiable.

So much coverage at Holiday Valley, they opened all the woods for the first time ever.
