The world premiere of Matchstick Productions mind-blowing new film Seven Sunny Days was the largest Matchstick event to date. An estimated 3,000 fans showed up to the outdoor showing held in the legendary skiers plaza in the Whistler Village. Athlete stars of the film showed up to sign posters and meet and greet the mob of fans. Athletes included; Sarah Burke, Mark Abma, Shane McConkey, Hugo Harrisson, TJ Schiller, Mike Douglas, Ingrid Backstrom, Chris Rubens, Eric Hjorliefson, CR Johnson, and Rory Bushfield. The films directors and cinematographers were also on site to share the enthusiasm.

Film highlights include standout performances by Mark Abma and Eric Hjorliefson, delivering progressive big mountain and freestyle segments. TJ Schiller has an incredible park segment, with some of the most interesting POV footage ever captured on film. His character and personality light up the screen, as he shares his highs with the viewers. The Whistler Jump segment proves to be one of the best freestyle jumping sessions caught on film. Mike Douglas has a stand out helmet cam segment that brings the viewer into his skis while Shane McConkey fulfills his dream of impersonating 007.

Some of the most powerful footage in the film, comes from Norway in the proximity flying segment. It features Norwegian base jumper, Espen Fadnes, Jean Loic Albert, and two of MSP favorites; JT Holmes and Shane McConkey. These athletes not only take wing suit flying to the next level but they risk there lives every jump providing some epic footage that cannot be missed.

Seven Sunny Days will be touring the United States and Europe for the next three months and is available on DVD with a special edition book that includes stories on the road with photographs. For more information visit skimovie.com
