The Salomon X3 10 CS is geared toward an advanced ripper that may or may not have a perfect foot. Let’s face it: Being able to wear a stiff alpine boot right out of the box is rare. The X3 10 has the custom shell technologies with the patented Kaprolene material that has proven to be an excellent innovation. At the shop, you can get a customized fit by simply heating the shell of the boot and stepping in. When the boot cools in 20 minutes, you have an exact fit without the expensive, painful, and time-consuming punching and grinding of the past. The X3 10 is a powerful, ultra-responsive boot that has plenty of pop as well as rebound. It also has less ramp angle than the Ghost, resulting in a more neutral stance to keep you on the right side of the handlebars.
