2011 Salomon Shogun Skis

Description: High performance, 100mm waist, all-mountain twin tip designed to be your go-to ski in all conditions. “It’s the Shogun’s versatility that really makes this ski a standout. It’s got enough rocker to ski pow on those deep days without compromising its ability to shred hardpack on other days. The bamboo in the ski really spices things up by making it super responsive on groomers and giving it a lot of pop for those days in the park. I have a pretty full quiver of skis and this is definitely the most well-rounded choice for everyday shredding.” – Mark Abma

Skier’s Choice Draft Pick | Round 2, 15th Pick by Caroline Schou
The Shogun is perfect for a tracked day. With a snappy bamboo laminate core and basalt topsheet, it’s receptive when heading through the chunder dome while the ample waist and slight rocker tip let you float through those pockets of pow. The Shogun is very similar to the Geisha, but I prefer the Shogun because it’s a bigger board overall, with better performance on the steeps which come into play every day at Jackson.
