Why wouldn’t this be the first binding selected? Working in the rental shop in Teton Village, I realized that the Dukes are definitely the most reliable bindings I saw and used all winter. Sitting higher on the ski, they give more power to edges to help those rockered skis perform on hardpack. While the Duke is kind of a beast on the skin track and isn’t the best choice for long tours, it is exceptionally popular in Jackson due to its ability to bag quick hits out of bounds and off Teton Pass.
