2011 Icelantic The Nomad Skis

Description: Able to tackle any and every snow condition at ease, the Nomad is an exceptional tool of versatility. Its shape and flex give the Nomad remarkable stability, superb maneuverability, and explosive power. If you favor a bit of everything, the Nomad is the ski for you. The SFT has the same specs as the regular Nomad but features our super-soft Nollie Flex Core for backcountry kickers.

Skier’s Choice Draft Pick | Round 2, 4th Pick by Max Santeusanio
The SFT is Icelantic’s backcountry freestyle offering (a softer version of the straight-up Nomad), but I am comfortable bringing this ski anywhere. A massive sidecut allows this ski to lacerate the groomers while turning on a dime. With a 105mm footprint this ski is no stranger to powder in the backcountry or in the trees. Skiing on the “ice coast” usually has skiers riding all-terrain with racing or skinny park skis. I used to be this way as well, but once I discovered how nimble and versatile the Nomad SFT was on ice, I will never go back. As an added bonus, this ski has an extra soft tip for pressing boxes and butterin’ in the park.
