2011 Atomic Blog Skis

Description: The Blog delivers the ultimate backcountry freestyle experience. A Pop Rocker 10 Camber profile in the tip and tail, combined with a waist width of 110mm, provide incredible float in powder. The tip-to-tail wood core and Step Down Sidewall L3 construction ensure optimum damping and protect the ski from hard impacts in rough terrain. These attributes are why Canadian freeskiier Dana Flahr prefers the Blog for his powder adventures.

Skier’s Choice Draft Pick | Round 1, 15th Pick by Derek Taylor
With 110mm underfoot, the Blog hits the new sweet spot for a powder ski. The ski features what Atomic calls “Pop Rocker,” which is essentially camber underfoot with 10mm of rocker in the tip and tail. In other words, it will float in the light and dry, and I won’t have to worry about sinking a tip if the snow is upside down or wind crusted. Other features include half-cap construction in the tip and tail combined with three-layer sidewall construction underfoot and a wood core.
