2011 4FRNT Turbo Skis

Description: If snow conditions are variable or uncertain, I take the Turbo. The early rise tip and tail with just the right stiffness really balances this ski out, especially in softer snow. The ski stomps and shreds in powder, yet has a sidecut and stiffness to enjoy on harder conditions. The perfect blend of rocker, sidecut, width, and stiffness make this ski go anywhere, anytime. I even brought a pair to Alaska with me. —Wiley Miller, active TGR and Level 1 film athlete

Skier’s Choice Draft Pick | Round 2, 10th Pick by John Stifter
As much fun as rockered skis can be, since they make everything so damn easy, the Turbo is a great all-mountain stick that provides the turn on hardpack or variable chop without chatter. Solid ABS sidewalls and a wood core make for a torsionally stiff ski while delivering a dampness that has just the right amount of liveliness. The elongated tip rocker makes skiing pow and the chop even easier while a twin tail allows for switch skiing and the occasional Dorion landing. For my size and skiing style, I like the 189cm, as it still retains its quickness edge to edge while adding the perfect resort-width of 108mm underfoot.
