2011 4FRNT EHP Skis

Description: I created the EHP to utilize the reverse camber/sidecut concepts but still incorporated traditional ski design to provide a versatile, stable platform on and in all types of snow. Ultimately, I tried to find the perfect blend between traditional ski design and the new technology of reverse camber/sidecut concept skis. The design delivers incredible float and speed in soft snow but still has plenty of forgiveness and agility around the resort. —Eric Hjorleifson, Whistler Blackcomb freeride team member

Skier’s Choice Draft Pick | Round 1, 4th Pick by Sam Pelletier
With very little sidecut, early taper in the tip and tail and just a hint of rocker, the EHP remains a novelty as a powder ski that doesn’t sacrifice performance for flotation. It is stiff and super stable, and its shape excels at high speeds, even on firm snow. It isn’t just for big mountains though; it’s surprisingly nimble in the trees and easy to get sideways when you want to do one of those hockey stops, er, slashes for the camera.
